Start playing Beyblade X
Assemble a three-part top, launch into an Xtreme Stadium and score by outspinning, knocking out or bursting the opposing Bey. The current X system is the right modern entry point.
One Xtreme Battle Set gives two people the stadium, tops and launchers required to play.

Know what you are trying to do
The objective
Launch both Beys together and score each round: 1 for a Survivor Finish, 2 for a Knockout or Burst Finish, and 3 for an Xtreme Finish. First to four points wins.
Ways the game ends
- Survivor Finish: 1 point for being the last Bey spinning.
- Knockout Finish: 2 points for sending the opposing Bey into a knockout zone.
- Burst Finish: 2 points when the opposing Bey separates first.
- Xtreme Finish: 3 points for sending the opposing Bey into the Xtreme zone.

Best first purchase
Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set
The complete set includes an Xtreme Stadium, two Beyblade X tops and two launchers. A single top or booster is not a complete two-player game.
Your night-one checklist
- One genuine Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set
- A clear floor area away from faces, pets and breakables
- The included safety and assembly instructions
Skip for now: Skip legacy Original, Metal and Burst parts for your first setup. They are mechanically different systems and must not be mixed with X tops or the X stadium.
03 · First match
Set up, take a turn, then play
Keep the first game open-handed. Explain each choice as it happens; save edge cases for match two.
Set up the table
- 01
Put the stadium on the floor
Use only a Beyblade X stadium on a stable floor. Do not place it on a table and do not lean over it during battle.
- 02
Assemble each Bey
Connect the Blade, Ratchet and Bit with the two-click fit shown in the official instructions.
- 03
Load the launchers
Attach each Bey securely, agree on the countdown and keep hands outside the stadium.
What a turn feels like
- 01
Choose
Pick your Bey and launch plan. Attack, Defence, Stamina and Balance types behave differently.
- 02
Launch together
Count down and launch at the same time. Keep launchers and bodies away from the stadium once the tops enter.
- 03
Call and score
Wait until the round is clearly over, identify the first finish that occurred and add the correct points.
Your first-night plan
- 01
0–5 minutes
Read the safety sheet, assemble both stock combinations and practise controlled launches one at a time.
- 02
5–10 minutes
Play first-to-four with the stock tops. Record finishes so both players learn the scoring language.
- 03
After the match
Swap tops before changing parts. Launch technique changes results as much as early customisation.
04 · Go further
Build confidence before complexity
- 01
Learn the four types
Attack seeks contact, Stamina seeks spin time, Defence absorbs hits and Balance mixes behaviours.
- 02
Customise one part at a time
Change only the Blade, Ratchet or Bit, then replay. That makes the effect of the change visible.
- 03
Build toward a three-Bey deck
Official competitive formats often use three distinct combinations. Learn casual scoring first, then read the current event rules.
Words you will hear
- Blade
- The metal contact layer that shapes weight and collision behaviour.
- Ratchet
- The middle part that sets height and contributes to burst resistance.
- Bit
- The tip and Xtreme-rail gear that strongly affects movement.
- Xtreme Dash
- Rapid acceleration when the Bit gear engages the stadium rail.
- Stock combo
- The exact Blade, Ratchet and Bit sold together by the manufacturer.
- Three-Bey deck
- A competitive selection of three combinations subject to event part rules.
Common first questions
Can Beyblade Burst parts fit Beyblade X?
No. X is a distinct system. Use Beyblade X tops, launchers and stadiums together exactly as instructed.
Do I need three tops immediately?
No. One stock top per player is enough for casual first-to-four play. Three-Bey decks matter when you move into competitive formats.
What is the most important safety rule?
Keep the stadium on the floor, use only compatible genuine parts, and never lean your face over spinning tops.
